So, I am not very good at this. I created a blog but I do not write, therefore defeating the entire purpose of "blogging". I wish I could say it was because I have been so busy writing my dissertation, because that would mean I have been productive. I have not...
However, I have had a great deal of fun these past few weeks. I love having the family around. First Noah and Autumn came to the cabin, then Greg, Diane and all the kids... After we came home, Ashley and Elliott came up and then Mom and Dad. 17 people for Taco Tuesday. It was a blast - a little crazy - but still great!
Noah and Autumn's shower was yesterday. I am so glad they included everyone. When Autumn first suggested the idea of a couples shower/picnic, I know the girls were hesitant, but they did a great job. It was an awesome party and everyone enjoyed themselves. Great idea! They got some fabulous gifts.
We took the gifts to their new apartment after the shower. I was anxious to see their place. It is nice -- very nice. They are both sooo excited and I am excited for them. But I have to admit, it a little weird walking into "their" place. My baby is growing up...

Dissertating - the act of writing one's dissertation - often used as an excuse to avoid annoying family gatherings and social events...
